Yups.

So I'll make this short and brief. Some of you guys inquired as to what is going on with my dog.

Welps, unfortunately, Simon has cancer.

We found a huge welt of a bump on his leg about a month ago and we took him to the vet. And also unfortunately, the vet proceeded to tell us that he "didn't know it was" and that "surgery was an option". We decided to leave it for the time being, but it grew, and we finally took him in. After the surgery was done, it was then known that "oops, it was a tumor" and that it was penetrated too deep within the bone, so total removal was unable to be done.

So unfortunately, the cancer specialist didn't give us very good options with our dog. Pretty much chemo or amputation, since lucky for us, the cancer did not spread. His heart and lungs and everything else is in better than perfect condition.

I won't be updating very often for the next few while, since our family has a really important decision to make, and we're all very stressed out at this moment.

Thanks everyone for caring and asking, I apprechiate it all. I'll let everyone know what we decide.

But for now....all people with a dog...make sure you guys have a reliable vet...one that is honest and trustworthy. The consequences of having a crappy vet can be so very heartbreaking, stressful, and hard on your family and your dog. (Janet, make sure Lucky has a good one..)

Oh dear.

My doggie is sick...very sick..oh what to do what to do.

Anyways, I don't want to dwell on that right now. Got some stuff to get into gear. That includes finding a job and bucking down and getting serious about school. I know it's one class, but it's hard to get motivated for it.

Rain has a new CD out this week....and it's pretty good!

Well..I suppose the cover doesn't hurt either, huh? =P

Can't beat Justin. He can outdance Rain anyday. Why can't all boys move like that? =P

Janet Jackson CD is pretty good..!!!

Nothing much to report. Life is mundane and routine. Except somethings....

• The Career Fair came and went again this year. And again, I feigned sickness in order to go. And again, it was a much disappointment. However, there were a lot more positive responses for chemmies this year..more yes to hirings than no. About 5-6 booths there were more willing to hire chemmies out of the 4-5 dozen booths in total. And trust me, that's a lot. So once again, I got fed up with all the rejection and cleaned the place out clean of the goodies lying on the table. I got so much free stuff: pens, lightlighters, erasers, rulers, staplers, flashlights, a deck of cards, a toothpick holder, a first aid kit (more like a bandaid kit), a waterbottle, and much much more. My favorite is the pen that the guy at Brenntag gave us...he hires chemists..so he's COOL: (this pen lights up too!)

• Darren put in his 2 weeks notice and resignation just last week, and accepted the offer from his new company. We're too excited!
• I'm on a massive job hunt right now. I've set some standards, but it seems like I should be lowering them. It's getting a bit fustrating realizing the industry that you want to go into only really accepts chemical/environmental engineers. Ah wells..what can you do right?
• I'm completely unmotivated to study this term for that one stinkin class. What the hell is wrong with me??
• I realized that my cousin's wedding is only a year away. Holy shit. Time to get into gear, lose some weight, and make my skin look boo-ti-ful.
• I found out recently that 100gigs of my 200gig-er external is gone. Oh. My. God. What the freak did I download???
• My doggie is going in for surgery tomorrow. One of his legs has this giant lump on it the size of my palm. For those of you who've seen my dog know how significant this is, since he's such a small thing. Anyways, it's getting bigger and bigger, so we decided to bring him in and get the vet to take it out. It really does make one of his legs 3x bigger than his other one. So hopefully, he'll be all okay after that....
