Whiplash..baby!

Car Accident #3. This is a big one guys. My neck hurts, and I'll have to replace my back bumper. I know it's not my fault, but this is seriously time consuming, stressful, and painful. My neck is going to be so sore tomorrow *sigh*.

Mayhaps this is a sign....a new career move perhaps? Maybe I should just get into car accidents all the time and get payment out of it. Might as well. Seeing this is the 2nd one in the past few months. Either that, or some serious Car-God has some bitchin' karma with me that I really would not like to endure.

Anyways, on the bright side....did any of you guys know that Old Dutch Chips hire chemists?? I'm serious!! Chemist need for a position "Summer QA Technician/Central Lab Technician". Can you imagine that. Should I apply?? It's only for the summer though...

Lab pics!
Me and Gail on her last day of work. She found another GOOD job....she gives me hope that I won't be stuck here forever......*sigh*

The "Prep Group"...me, Lindsay and Gail...good times, good times. The Uno @ Lunchtime group has now officially been reduced to two =(

Best of luck to your new job Gail!! Let us know how it turns out!

TOGO rules!

So me, Diana and Grace went out for a Korean dinner tonight. And wow. It was such an adventure.

By the end of it all, me and Diana both got swollen lips (well, it felt swollen at least), burning hot throats, and tears in our eyes. Grace was chomping away at her food as if it was water. That girl is crazy, I tells you. But I suppose, if I go to Korea in a couple of years, I might as well starting training in my how-to-eat-hot-and-spicy-food proficiency. Those of you who know me know that I have zero tolerance for hot food, so tonight's dinner was leaps and bounds over what I usually eat. Even by Grace's standards, the food wasn't hot enough. Gosh oh gosh, I'm gonna be screwed.

But despite it's hotness, it was really good..! Some cultures just emphasize the fact that the food is spicy, so you only taste the spiciness. But I find that korean food uses spiciness to emphasize it's other flavors...so it tastes good with the hotness. There was a bowl of noodles that we ordered which was really (friggin) hot, but I have to admit, without the hotness, the noodles would only be sweet, and not much else...so it would taste better with hot sauce.

But dear lord..hopefully not THAT hot..

However, I did try a dish that Rain ate in "Full House". Yes I know, I'm such a retard, but whatever, I thought it was pretty coooooolll =P. I tried this "chap chae" dish, which is basically this Korean noodle with rice and some other stuff...and it was good..!

So thanks to Ange for recommending it to me! *thumbs up*

On Friday, me and Darren went out fishin' with Sorp and Cory at the lake over at Coral Springs. And, well, we officially SUCK. After sitting there for 3-4 hrs, we caught nothing. Well...technically....we did catch something....we just didn't retain it...that's the difference. Anyways, people were coming and leaving left and right and catching 4-6 fishys in a span on 15mins. But whatever...I had a lot of fun regardless. It was nice just to sit on the lake and chat up the good old times. I'd do it again! (But with PowerBait, of course).

Afterwards, we seeked revenge by eating sushi. It was good.

Anyways, work sucks. We've been getting 60-100 samples for a few days last week...which is a lot compared to the norm of 30 samples. Both me and my coworker are swamped with work, and we can't handle it anymore. If this continues for awhile, I think I might have to speak up and complain to them that we need another person. If need be, I'll let samples run past overdue to let them know how serious it is. It's sickening.

And on top of that, there was this huge arguement between another one of my coworkers and my supervisor. I'm not talking about disagreements here -- this was a full fledged arguement that included voice raising, finger pointing, and even the, "Don't speak to me right now. I don't want to talk to you.". It was indeed, very bad. And the bad news? I think she quit. Not like here-is-my-2-weeks, more like the here-is-my-timesheet-I-won't-be-in-on-Monday kind of quit. Not good. Especially since we're swamped with work.

Stress stress.

But to relieve stress, you guys MUST watch this video. It is HILARIOUS!!!

And last but not least: today is the anniversary of William's passing: Hey pal...we came by to visit you this morning, and we saw fresh flowers there, so we figured your parents came by already. Each day goes by and we think of you always, and miss you dearly in our hearts. We hope that wherever you are, you are doing well and watching our backs for us. Thanks man.

Fort Minor- Where'd You Go

Where'd you go?
I miss you so,
Seems like it's been forever,
That you've been gone

She said "Some days I feel like shit,
Some days I wanna quit, and just be normal for a bit,"
I don't understand why you have to always be gone,
I get along but the trips always feel so long,
And, I find myself trying to stay by the phone,
'Cause your voice always helps me to not feel so alone,
But I feel like an idiot, workin' my day around the call,
But when I pick up I don't have much to say,
So, I want you to know it's a little fucked up,
That I'm stuck here waitin', at times debatin',
Tellin' you that I've had it with you and your career,
Me and the rest of the family here singing "Where'd you go?"

I miss you so,
Seems like it's been forever,
That you've been gone.
Where'd you go?
I miss you so,
Seems like it's been forever,
That you've been gone,
Please come back home...

You know the place where you used to live,
Used to barbecue up burgers and ribs,
Used to have a little party every Halloween with candy by the pile,
But now, you only stop by every once and a while,
Shit, I find myself just fillin' my time,
With anything to keep the thought of you from my mind,
I'm doin' fine, I plan to keep it that way,
You can call me if you find that you have something to say,
And I'll tell you, I want you to know it's a little fucked up,
That I'm stuck here waitin', at times debatin',
Tellin' you that I've had it with you and your career,
Me and the rest of the family here singing "Where'd you go?"

I miss you so,
Seems like it's been forever,
That you've been gone.
Where'd you go?
I miss you so,
Seems like it's been forever,
That you've been gone,
Please come back home...

I want you to know it's a little fucked up,
That I'm stuck here waitin', no longer debatin',
Tired of sittin' and hatin' and makin' these excuses,
For why you're not around, and feeling so useless,
I
t seems one thing has been true all along,
You don't really know what you've got 'til it's gone,
I guess I've had it with you and your career,
When you come back I won't be here and you can sing it...

Where'd you go?
I miss you so,
Seems like it's been forever,
That you've been gone.
Where'd you go?
I miss you so,
Seems like it's been forever,
That you've been gone,
Please come back home...
Please come back home...
Please come back home...
Please come back home...
Please come back home...

Ah..it's been awhile that a good song has come on. Very refreshing.

Imagestation SUCKS

...why?

After trying to upload only 60 pics into my album for an hour, I realized that it didn't work and that I would have to do it all over again. Screw that. Snapfish.com it is.

Winnie the Pooh series has new collectables out!! That's right guys...an additional series that I didn't know about!!!

In which I went ahead, and got 3 of the newest ones: Mr. Seahorse, Starfish, and Crab (very cool)

That crab is just the coolest thing! Really! Next target: the clear Jellyfish!

So I went dress shopping the other day for Ange's wedding. Just a nice summer dress, that's all. I had no idea how such a simple task could turn out to be so complicated and depressing. Apparently, me being stumpy is not a good thing and thus, makes the worst appearances in dresses. I've tried on countless numbers of dress and each have an extremely unflattering style on me. It accentuates all the wrong parts: flabby arms, large waist, big thighs, short legs, back fat, etc., etc., etc.

Depressing isn't it?

So I have decided to opt for a skirt and a nice top. All the more reason to go shopping this weekend *sigh*

Darren finally convocated yesterday! I'm so happy and proud of him!

It was all an exciting time....time to embark on a completely new career path where the future remains a mystery. Wow...sounds like those corny speeches eh? Well, it's true! I'm very proud of him and his achievements; it's finally all over!

Sad news of the day: I didn't win the $29 million dollar Lotto 649 Jackpot. Damn. I'll go sulk in a corner now.

Bachelor-ette Par-tay.....

....are just too, too, fun.

I had way too much fun at Angela's bachelorette party last night. There wasn't even alcohol or the traditional strippers; just good old fashioned fun and games (with some very naughty undertones at times hahahahaha!)

Memorable moments:
  • Oooh-ing and ahh-ing at Carmen Electra's Striptease Workout DVD
  • Ange going "I am a natural born sex machine"...bwhahahaha
  • Toilet paper game; enough said
  • "Making out" with Angela in the living room..hey I even 'dipped' her haha!
  • Claira (is it? Well one of the twins) doing that striptease dance on Angela in a chair
  • Angela's and Jason's "come hilther" look
  • Ada's ninja pose

And the best one?

  • Ange's and Jason's lap dance (for each other, of course)

Ahhh....good times good times. Too good even. *sigh* I can't wait for their wedding in a few weeks--it's going to be so memorable!

Holly and Desmond are ENGAGED!!!

WWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! *runs in a big circle*

Man, I must be more excited than the bride and groom combined, and it's not even my wedding. Geez, I'm so weird.

A whorehouse in Sims2? It's possible....

Whoa! A week has gone by! Doesn't feel like it. I've been uber lazy lately about updating this blog: unmotivated to do anything from the minute my fat butttt lands on this computer chair. I now have a regular schedule once I come home:

  • Call Darren
  • Nap
  • Eat
  • Call Darren, reconfirm plans for games
  • Play games
  • Brush my teeth while waiting for Darren's phone call
  • Bed

So you see, I really don't have a life. Except on Thurs, where I have to then haul my butttt over to the university for my Funk Fusion classes. Interestingly, I really look forward to Thursdays, since it's a chance for me get out and stretch my muscles, meet up with Lisa, and watch me dance ridiciously in front of a mirror.

And another daily fun thing to look forward to: my lunch time card games with Gail and Lindsay from work. The cards bring out the competitive side in us, but hey, at least we have fun!! Does anyone know where I can get a travel sized MJ set?!

So I suppose this is "life after university" eh? Well, I think I can get used to it. Pretty relaxing for me (so far).

Hi ho!! Sammi Cheng is gonna come out with a new album hopefully soon!! She is apparently starting recording sometime this month, so I hope the CD comes out shortly after that. I'm excited...!! She hasn't put out an album in almost 2 years =(

Nothing really new to update I suppose. Few things to look forward to: Ange's Bachelorette par-tay and the Big Wedding Day (hooray!), Darren's convocation next week, and Bowness BBQ on the 10th. I suppose weekends are something that I really look forward to now. Actually, more like Friday at 4:30.

Summer movies to see!

  • Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift
  • The Devil Wears Prada
  • MI3
  • Hard Candy
  • The Break Up
  • Ghost Rider

Audrey usually is the one that posts up movie lists, but this summer has so many cool movies coming out (although my list is noticably shorter than hers..). However, Da Vinci's Code was a bit of a disappointment and X-Men was pretty good! (I'm Juggernaut, b*tch!!!)

A nifty video: I Will Survive (Jesus version)

Anyways, mayhaps I'll update later when there are more things to say..
