Twists and turns...

So here I am again..pretty bored I suppose. I really should be working on my lab...but I mean...when you have a 6+ hr break the next day..it's pretty unmotivating to do it at night. Ahh wells.

Sooo...I went to the Career Fair today at school. Well, more specifically...the "Science and Engineering Career Fair". Whatever. What a waste of time. It should just be labelled "Engineers Allowed Only Career Fair" cause I could find nothing related to science, or any company that is willing to even look at a Science major. Despite my oil and gas environmental lab experience, I realized that no company was willing to pay attention to me if I didn't have an "engineer" label behind my major. Which is essentially....stupid. So. It seems like I went to great lengths to keep a job that probably isn't going to help me at all in the future. So...what am I doing here again..??!?!?!?

Anyways, despite it all, I got pissed and realized that no company was willing to give me a chance, I went on a rampage and collected tons of free shit that was lying on the tables for people to take. So I got so much: staplers, mini flashlights, little clips, highlighters..oh I went bonkers. Nova Chemcials gave me a plastic cup. I realized Talisman Energy were being complete jerks and hiding their water bottles. So if you weren't an engineer and didn't talk to them, you wouldn't get one. Stupid them. I even got bags of popcorn. So yes. I might not have handed in as many resumes as I would loved to, but at least I seeked redemption and took the free stuff.

But still. I'm in a bit of a funk...wondering what I'm going to do with my life...and hoping if I can ever find a good solid job for myself.

Ah wells. Life must go on.

Hmm..who wants to go see Andy Lau in concert over in Vegas during Christmas Eve?? Any takers?? Man. I must seriously be the only one who wants to go. Dang you guys all! *shakes fist* I need him to come to Calgary! Or Edmonton!!! I don't care!!!!

Oh yes, for some of those who had graduated already, remember the Sign Guy? There is a new chick, holding a sign around about last week sometime. The sign read "He Graduated"...so I think we all know what that means =P

Anyways, I think I should go and do something productive. I doubt it...depending on your definition of productive (hahaaaa). Toodles.
