Howdy!

Updates on life: nothing is new. Work still sucks. Hope of finding a new job quickly fades. Tired every night. World of Warcraft is defintely still fun. And in a couple of days, it will be me and Darren's 5th anniversary.

Wow. 5th anniversary. Imagine that.

Anyways, I just downloaded Andy Lau's Coffee or Tea CD. Not bad, not bad. I also am looking for his concert called Vision Tour 2004. If anyone has any hookups to sites, it would be so very nice to know =) I also downloaded Coldplay's newest CD, called X&Y. It is such an EXCELLENT cd. Even though I downloaded it, i'm contemplating on actually going out and buying it. It's really that good.

I have no idea why I like Andy Lau so much now...I guess I'm just weird. Either that, or I'm getting old. I think it's the latter point, since the older you get, the more you want ties to days when you were younger.

Stampede is on now. *woot*. It's the same every year...except I realized this year they took out the Drop of Fear. Very weird. That ride was very popular. Now they replaced it with 5 rides that are like, basically the same as other ones that they have already. Maybe an extra spin or two. I noticed they have a few more games as well. But again, they are all pretty much impossible.

Going on Sunday was so horrible. I have learned a horrible lesson...regardless, be there at the stampede by at least 8:00 in the morning. Especially on Family Day. When I got there..I was going to turn into the parking lot but got cut off by the other car (&*%$%*&#@), to which the parking dude was like, "Sorry, not more space". *GAH*. Did some crazy ass turns and speeding on Macleod to find a parking spot. Settled for one that was $15.00. My god. $15.00!!! What did I do?! Anyways, after we parked, sent me and Sorp running to the gates cause it was like 5 mins to 9:00. We made it. At like, 9:01. I'm proud of Sorp actually. That girl knows how to weave through crowds and run like hell. There is a benefit to being small!!!

Highlight: I actually won a game of Whack-a-Mole. I am PROUD. Got meself a Bart Simpson. Tried for the rest of the family, but it really went downhill from there. So after spending so much money, I decided to let it go and leave on a high point *yay*

Like my dad says: Might as well quit while ahead *heheehhe*

I still really need to go shopping. I have had this itch for freaken 2 months.

  • Ooooh - a new entry!! You know, I think they took out the Drop of Fear in Stampede this year cuz of safety concerns... I remember the cart getting stuck in the middle of the beam a few times, with sparks flying last year - the reason why I remember is cuz that happened to the people right after us on that ride!! Anywho, just wanted to say congrats on nearing your guys' anniversary!! 5 years is very exciting :)
